The national carrier Vietnam Airlines will co-operate with Hong Kong’s King Power Traveler to launch a duty-free shop named Lotushop starting in October this year.
Lotte Duty Free, the South Korean travel retail company, on Monday announced it will open its second duty-free shop at Cam Ranh International Airport next year.
Supervision of imported food products sold at duty-free shops might no
longer be needed and firms will assume full responsibility for product
quality and safety, according to a Government draft decree on duty-free
business issued for public comment.
Southern Airport Services Company (SASCO), reached a net revenue of
VND1.479 trillion (US$66 million) and a profit after tax of VND126.3
billion ($5.5 million) in the first three quarters.
